This weeks event

The main event this week is the gem event. They added a twist to the rewards this week in giving out handfuls of no trade treasure debris. If you do not have pigeon eggs yet this is the week to get it, synth every lvl 5 gem you can to lvl 6 regardless of type. Getting 5 for each synth makes getting your costume ring really easy. If you already have pigeon eggs they have thrown in tons of radiance packs for synthing lvl 6 to 7 and 7 to 8. I would suggest you focus on doing those gems if you have pigeon eggs because the boxes have a chance of giving molds which will help you synth even more gems. As always this week it's only 2 gems instead of 3 on all synths from lvl 3-8.

Pro tip:awakening

The fastest way to gain power through awakening is to go after the 8 piece bonus which gives you your form and 10% damage to everything. You only need to get to the first elemental awakening on each piece of armor and jewelry to get your form.

Extreme dungeon strategy

I have posted a page with the common information you will need for completing all of the extreme dungeons. These dungeons are very hard and not necessarily ment for fresh level 80s. I would recommend a minimum power rating of 150k for e65, 200k for e67 and 250k for e69. I'm not saying don't do extreme runs every day because you are going to want to. I'm saying until you get those power ratings, you likely won't get a 3 star completion of the dungeon. The stones for awakening your armor is the most important part of extremes and you still get those so still run them.

Leveling Guide

This game is really easy to level in if you know how to do it. I have leveled multiple lvl 80s using this strategy with very little effort. The first 30 levels shouldn't take you any time at all to make. You can get to lvl 30 in day 1 by just doing the quests and running dungeons. NOTE:you only get 1 stamina every 10 minutes and it takes 5 to do a normal dungeon so you should always do at least 1 dungeon an hour. Once you are above level 30 you are going to want to focus more on dungeons, make sure you are never sitting at full dungeon stamina. You will want to run the highest level dungeons as many times as you can. This will also help you to not hit dead spots in questing where you only have a quest to reach the next level. A few other things you are going to want to do is get double experience cards from the voucher store and make sure to use the ones the game gives you. A few other things you can do to increase your experience gain is make friends. Find people around your level and link up and do dungeons together. Add them to your friends and gain friend levels. Group when you are in the same zone as well, you get credit for each other's kills so you don't even need to be doing the same thing to increase each other's experience. Another option you are going to want to consider is spending the 5 dollars to get vip3 which unlocks among other things auto use soul skill. This is a button you can check in auto attack options that allows your character to use the soul skill you equip as soon as it fills. With this ability and the self cure soul skill equipped you can actually kill forever without dying on most classes while leveling up. the other notable unlock for vip3 is remote warehouse which virtually doubles your inventory.
Once you reach level 55 you can enter leven harbor, and once you can get here you and your friends can really level while you sleep in dark passage. You get there by going through the waterway under leven harbor. It's the highest level zone in the game that is a non PK area. It helps to have a guild that regularly groups up in here with auto accept group invite selected. You and all your guild friends can gain about a half of a level or more every night in there while you sleep. You are still going to want to  dungeon as much as you can do all your quest and use all these tactics and if possible start doing heroic dungeons.
All together you should be able to get to level 80 in about 3 weeks or so pending on your playtime.

Costumes

Costumes are basically a second set of gear that you can build. Each piece give strength agility intelligence and wisdom. You can get costume pieces from a lot of things in game but most will come from costume packs from the roulette and buying pieces with vouchers. You can upgrade these costume pieces by synthesizing other costume pieces for the same slot into the one you want to keep. When you synthesize these pieces together there is a chance that you will receive additional costume effects, and it's the only way to get fantasy costume pieces. When you synthesize them together there is also a random chance that the costume piece will become permanent. Any piece of costume gear can become permanent this way.

I found that it was easiest for me to make them permanent was to save a couple of the angel/devil packs from the roulette and then open them all at once and put them together. Then I started one piece at a time buying them from the voucher store and making them permanent. Don't worry if one expires on you, just save it. When you get the next one you can put the expired one in it and get all the levels on the new piece.

Any piece of costume gear you level up has a chance of spawning the fantasy costume pieces which are what would be considered your epic costume pieces. The important thing is getting a piece in each slot and making it permanent.

Blood Souls

Blood souls are another fully customizable aspect to this game in which you get 6 slots to choose any blood souls you want and level them up. Again though with open customization comes a lot of wrong ways of doing it and only a few right. In this case there is really only one right way. The blood souls that give static stats I.e. Matk patk mdef pdef hp mana etc are all less powerful than the percentage based incresase souls you can get. A blood soul like faith, which at rank 10 gives a 50% increase in critical damage far outshines a base of 500 atk. That being the case the best blood soul setup for end game PvE and especially pvp is Faith(crit dmg) alert(incoming crit chance reduction) tenacity (reduced crit damage taken) evasion(miracles stat) hit(blasphemy stat) and scout(run speed increase). Almost every single person I have asked that is over 300k power uses 5 if not all 6 of these. The others tend not to do pvp heavily and thus haven't started using scout yet.

NOTE: if you read my beginners tips post you would know that these are not to be worried about until you get towards the upper levels.

   As you are leveling it's fine to use your damage increase soul and even the hit point one. In fact the May be better for you to use in the earlier levels than the percentage based ones. Do not put a lot of time and more importantly money into leveling these until you have a comfortable amount of both. Once you get a blood soul high enough you can just load gold onto it and auto level it without having to endlessly summon blood souls to feed to it. This is the best way to level them up, it certainly takes more time but it's about the same amount of gold and you are free to do whatever while the timer ticks down.

How to build gems for your armor

Gems are one of the many fully customizable aspects of this game. That being said there are a lot of wrong ways to do it and really only a few right ones. Firstly I should give this information

Garnet=hit points
Ruby=physical attack
Sapphire=magic attack
Emerald=physical defense
Agate=magic defense
Opal=physical critical hit rate
Spinel=magical critical hit rate

Now that you know what they all do, let's talk about how to build them. At level 6 gems they can be fused together to give you double the gem effect, this is where I would like to begin talking about them. You can only have one of each dual gem per each piece of armor. You cannot have two patk/pcrit gems in the same piece of armor. This imposes certain restrictions on you in the way you can maximize the effect of these gems. These are referred to as gem builds.

Full damage gem build
Basically this build requires the maximum amount of rubies/sapphires. You will need 4 per each piece of armor. You would fuse the gems together as such: atk/hp atk/crit atk/pdef atk/mdef. This will maximize the amount of attack power you have and give you the most damage output.

Full defensive gem build
This build is not very popular as most classes just aren't effective in it. This build is most useful to classes that have abilities that work on their hps like the justicar or slayer. Basically it's fully balanced in the way it's built. It looks like this hp/mdef hp/pdef atk/mdef atk/pdef. This build give you twice as many hp gems as any other build and also doubles your defensive gems vs the offensive build.

Hybrid gem build
This one is my personal favorite. It consists of high def and maintains most of it attack.
It looks like atk/hp atk/pdef atk/mdef mdef/pdef. You still get the double effect on gems, and you keep 75% of the attack, the only thing you short yourself on is critical strike rating which most classes have very high amounts of to begin with.

Many people use one of these three builds for gems, the ones that don't are known as scrub builders :)

Pets

Many people have asked me about pets in this game so I'm going to try and answer everyone all at once here. The best pet in the game is the air spirit. He is only attained through diamond summoning which costs real money. Agamemnon is just as good as him and is found the same way. Outside of those two there are no other comparable pets to them. That being said if you are looking for a good pet here are some thing to consider. Are you building offensive or defensive? Are you ever planning on spending money on diamond summon? Are you willing to wait and save wishing crystals to have an epic pet?
    Once you have determined the answer to those questions here some info that should help.
The earth spirit has one different ability from the air spirit. Granted it's the one that makes him so powerful, but the earth spirit is free to summon and you should get it within your first few days. In my opinion the earth spirit is the best free pet. However, it's not noticeable better than the fury goblin,dark spirit,guardian or watchmen.
The dark spirit and goblin are both good offensive pets, giving you a lot to your base attack and some other cool abilities to boot.
The guardian and watchmen are the best two defensive pets, giving you huge defensive bonuses and shield triggers and such. The most important thing to remember though is that power wise, the earth spirits 1 second cool down reduction is more powerful in the late game than any other ability you can get from a pet aside from the air spirits crit damage increase.
Hope that helps you decide which pet to use.

Now for evolving a pet. I have only made it to +3 thus far so I'm not sure what exactly it takes to make a pink. In order to turn a blue pet purple you need a lvl 30 purple pet to evolve it. Purple pets are gained through the diamond summon or by opening the daily summon box and collecting fragments. Once your pet is purple you will need to level it up a bit and then you will need 2 level 40 purple pets to evolve your pet to a purple +1. 3 level 50s are needed for +2 and 4 level 60s for +3.
A tip with evolving, if you have the pet required and it's still saying you don't have enough, make sure the pets aren't in your magical formation or locked.
