Blood Souls

8.0 has made a lot of updates to the blood souls. They have added a store in which you can buy them directly now, as well as dual bloodsouls. They have also changed the way you level them to a crystal you get from dissolving bloodsouls. It's now 20k gold per summon but as far as my math serves the rate at which you get souls vs. gold spent is about the same and all they really did here is eliminate the time in which it used to take from days to hours if you have the gold. The same blood souls as before are the ones you are still going to seek, % based stat always beats static gain. Some names have changed as well but the % increase has not been.
